Pots after burnishing but before the kiln
and getting ready for smoke firing.

 Smaller thrown additions of the smoke fired variety, here
 I experimented with copper wire.

Smoke fired bowl, h15cm, d22cm, matt textured on the outside and burnished for a shiny inside.

 

Recent smoke fired pots,  'tulip' pot (height 15cm, diameter 14cm) 2 small burnished bowls and below the big 'lesson' pot (height 26cm, diameter 35cm).

Moved in in the snow!

Then the excitement of
another smoke firing.

Out came the 'storm pot' 

and six small ones.

making these smoke fired pots is so much fun, I will be doing more!

My new studio being unloaded and a few weeks later after a lot of hard work and help, starting to come together. Very exciting.
